Las Palmas does not clean like El Poblado. Up the road, roughly between kilometre 3 and kilometre 12, you get country houses and low-rise gated condominios: homes of 200, 400, sometimes 600 m², spread over two or three levels, with their own garden, a covered terrace and glass that takes up an entire wall. One person in four hours does not finish a house like that, which is why we almost always send a team of two or three up here.

How we work in Las Palmas
The mountain changes the work too. At this altitude the fog rolls in most afternoons and the damp stays: glass is marked by morning, wooden frames and skirting boards collect mould in the cold corners, and the floors in the living areas pick up garden mud far faster than they do in the city. Regular deep cleaning here is not a luxury — it is what keeps the damp from turning into a maintenance problem.
The third factor is travel. Getting up to Las Palmas takes 25 to 45 minutes from central Medellín depending on traffic on the road, so we group visits in the area into blocks and ask you to book a little further ahead.
