Gated complexes dominate the newer housing and bring their own protocol: a staffed gate with a visitor log, owner authorisation, and sometimes restricted hours for suppliers. On the other hand apartments here tend to be larger than El Poblado for the same rent, often with two or three balconies and a separate laundry area.
Travel time is a genuine factor: reaching Envigado from the north of the city takes a while, especially at rush hour. So we group Envigado bookings into morning or afternoon blocks and ask for slightly more lead time than in El Poblado.
