MimiMaids started in 2026 in Medellín with a simple idea: booking a cleaning should be as clear as booking a ride. Published prices, a written scope, and a company that answers for the work.
Why we exist
Hiring a cleaner in Medellín usually goes like this: you ask around for a recommendation, message someone on WhatsApp, wait for a quote that sometimes arrives, agree a price verbally, and hope they turn up. If something goes wrong, there is nobody to escalate to. And if that person gets sick or travels, you are back at the start.
That model runs on personal trust, which is fine when the trust is there. The problem is that it doesn’t scale, it comes with no guarantees, and it leaves the person doing the work without clear terms either.
MimiMaids takes the other route: prices published by size band, a written checklist for every service, and the company on the hook for the result. If something on the checklist wasn’t done, you take it up with MimiMaids, not with an individual.
How we work
We publish the price before you ask. We publish what each service includes and what it does not. We group routes by area to cut travel, which makes the operation more predictable for clients and more reasonable for the team.
We also say no. If there is no capacity for a same-day Express, we say so immediately. If an address falls outside that week’s route, we say so before you plan your day around a visit that isn’t going to happen.
What we are not, yet
MimiMaids has just started. We don’t have years of history, we don’t have hundreds of reviews, and we are not going to invent them. When real client reviews exist on Google, they’ll appear on the site with the name, neighbourhood and service.
The same goes for certifications and insurance: we don’t publish a badge we can’t back up. As the operation grows and those processes genuinely exist, we’ll announce them here.
